In a context where environmental awareness is becoming increasingly important, Eurocell works every day to define programs and objectives as part of the sustainable development of its economic, social and environmental activities.
Our company is committed to sustainable innovation by investing in research to create eco-friendly products made from renewable and recyclable raw materials, by selecting suppliers to create a traceable and sustainable supply chain, and by developing a socio-environmental balance sheet, which is a quantitative and qualitative report of the company’s activities.
SO FAR, THREE PROJECTS HAVE BEEN REALIZED BY EUROCELL:
Product Carbon Footprint
Eurocell has obtained the Product Carbon Footprint certification according to the international standard UNI EN ISO 14067:2018. This assessment provides the total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with the life cycle of a product, including the end-of-life phase of the product, taking into account all inputs and outputs of the production process.
Sustainability report
Another indicator of Eurocell's commitment to the planet is our sustainability report, which is a record, the result of a process through which the organization gives an account of its ECONOMIC- SOCIAL-ENVIRONMENTAL choices, activities and results in a given period. The report is intended for all stakeholders, and its aim is not only to provide them with total transparency of information, but also to establish an increasingly strong bond based on trustworthiness and reliability.

This rating from Ecovadis, the world's leading provider of sustainability reporting services, validates the company's journey to date. Its goal is to provide reliable and globally recognized sustainability assessments and insights that enable the company to reduce risk, drive improvement and accelerate its positive impact on our planet and society.
New Fintak line
The Fintakᴿ compostable line consists of the OK COMPOST INDUSTRIAL certified block bottom bag and the OK COMPOST HOME certified envelope bags, burger discs and sheets. Eurocell’s compostable product line is made from NatureFlex™, a material originally derived from pulp harvested from responsibly managed forests.
The choice of NatureFlex™ material is driven by the brand’s history and the guarantee of consistent quality over time. This allows Eurocell to grant its customers a product that is both high performance and sustainable, as it can be recovered through composting, becoming a new resource and reducing the environmental impact as much as possible.
Fintakᴿ’s compostable products are the answer to the market’s growing need for products with minimal environmental impact and that, as in this case with the OK COMPOST certification, make the composting process accessible in both industrial and domestic environments. The aim is to reach more and more people’s homes, leading them to a more targeted and environmentally friendly use of packaging and to the avoidance of wastage.
